On the 21st to the 24th days of September, 2008, the Federation of Kuching and Samarahan Divisions Chinese Associations Youth Section, Sarawak was invited by the People's Government of Guangdong Province, China for a 4 days familiarization tour to Zhujiang (Pearl River) Delta, Guangdong Province.

9月24日，也是我们广东省侨办安排我们行程的最后一天。无巧不成书，今年第14号强台风“黑格比” (Hagupit) 也选择在这一天登陆广东，造成广州市大雨连连，还局部暴雨，全市进入防台风预案IV级应急响应。让也无疑的让我们的广东行多了一些冒险成份和令人难忘的经历。

我们在早晨的疾风劲雨中抵达位于广州市南沙区的丰田汽车厂参观。广州丰田汽车有限公司成立于2004年9月1日，由广州汽车集团与日本丰田汽车公司各出资50％组建。先后获得“ISO14001”环境管理体系认证和“ISO9001”质量保体系认证的广州丰田汽车有限公司占地面积187万平方米，建筑面积21万平方米，目前共有员工4100余人。2006年，该公司产销双双超过61,000辆。
