
2009年1月3日(星期六),受邀出席古晉马兰诺族协会举办的迎接2009年聚会,可以体验不同种族的文化和美食,又可见见几位马兰诺族的老朋友叙叙旧,这何尝不是人生一大乐事?

On January 3rd, 2009 (Saturday), I was invited by The Melanau Association of Kuching (PMK) to attend their Welcoming of 2009 New Year Gathering ("Berdudun Ta'un Baau 2009" in Melanau language), the function was held at Wisma Melanau, at Halaman Kurung Sian, Ong Tiang Swee Road, Kuching.

Melanau is one of the more than 25 ethnic groups who call this great land Sarawak their home.

I pride myself to be a Sarawakian and am truly blessed to live in a society where most if not all of its people respect each other's differences and cherish each other's similarities.
