汉省华青团于2008年9月21日至24日受中国广东省人民政府侨务办公室之邀，前往广东省珠江三角洲作为期4天的经济考察。

《珠江三角洲的经济奇迹》一文记录了整个活动的过程。

On the 21st to the 24th days of September, 2008, the Federation of Kuching and Samarahan Divisions Chinese Associations Youth Section, Sarawak was invited by the People's Government of Guangdong Province, China for a 4 days familiarization tour to Zhujiang (Pearl River) Delta, Guangdong Province.

《Discover Pearl River Delta 》 is an article I wrote and published about the trip.

羊城八景之一的越秀公园
Guangzhou Yuexiu Park

9月25日上午，团员们兵分两路，一部份团员选择再回到中博会参观，而另一部分的团员则选择游玩广州市的景点。在旅游景点方面，由于时间也相当紧迫，我们只锁定中山纪念堂和有羊城 (即 “广州市” ) 八景美称的越秀公园。

据史书记载，广州自宋代开始就有羊城八景的评选。而新世纪评选的羊城八景分别是：云山叠翠，珠水夜韵，越秀新晖，天河飘绢，古祠留芳，五环晨曦，黄花皓月，莲峰观海。

越秀新晖指的就是越秀山或越秀公园，我们游玩的景点。越秀山又称粤秀山，因有越王台遗址而得名。面积92.8万平方米，平均海拔约65米。越秀山以拥有五羊雕像和镇海楼两座广州标志性建筑而闻名。

告别华青

2009年4月12日和5月17日对我来说是两个重要的日子，前者是我卸下晋汉省华青团团长的日子，即晋汉省华青团2009年度常年成员代表大会，而后者却是我卸下晋汉省华总青年组主任的日子，即晋汉省华总2009年度常年会员代表大会。

10年了，不知不觉的，我参与晋汉省华青团已快10年了。

“ 在这段时间大家情同手足，不分彼此地为华青团打拼。承蒙大家的厚爱，还让小弟在后四年里有机会学习如何当好一个团长，学习如何带好一个团队以及学习如何扮演华青团所应该扮演的角色。你们对我的信任和毫无保留的支持，蔡斌由衷感激你们，也感谢所有关怀我，爱护我和不停地给我鼓励加油的朋友们。蔡斌没有什么可以回报你们，只有诚惶诚恐，战战兢兢地呈上这些年来小弟和我们华青团队的成绩单给大家过目，若是做得不好不足的地方，那是蔡斌学得还不够，若华青团有任何小成就让大家感到欣慰，那是因为华青团有一支非常棒，非常积极和合作的团队，一个让蔡斌此生无怨无悔，也感谢上天让我认识到的兄弟姐妹们。”

Farewell FCY

12th April, 2009 and 17th May, 2009 mark the two important dates of my life, the former where I retired from chairman post of The Federation of Kuching and Samarahan Divisions Chinese Associations Youth Section, Sarawak ("FCY") and the latter saw me retired from the Youth Chief post of The Federation of Kuching and Samarahan Divisions Chinese Associations, Sarawak ("FCA").

Well, I guess every flower deserves a chance ...

這些小野紫花躲在路邊的雜草中，實在是不容易被發現，但在鏡頭底下它們卻是如此的高雅和美麗。

我想，再不起眼的花也需要給予機會展現的 ...

Main Bazaar 海唇街

Main Bazaar, the oldest street in Kuching which history could trace back as early as 1864.

位于市中心的海唇街是古晋最早的街道 , 其历史可追溯至1864年。

The historical buildings alongside the street nowadays are dotted with shops selling antique and handicraft.

如今的海唇街是手工艺品和古董爱好者的天堂。

The older it gets the more stylish it is ...

真是愈老愈有味道的海唇街...

Remember the 133 year-old Sarawak Club I posted earlier which I mentioned at the end that the club is developing a golf course and building another clubhouse to provide more sporting and recreational facilities in Samarahan Division ( a division adjacent to Kuching Division)?

Well, I happened to pass by that area the other day and here you are, the club's new clubhouse and golf resort ...
