圣诞礼物

刚收到Roberto从英国寄来的圣诞礼物。不是送给我，是送给我家老大的。

虽然赶不及在圣诞节前送到，但这不是重点，心意比较重要啦！

Class of '88 Reunion 同窗会

我们有20年没见面了喔 ...

毕业了20年，我们1988年古晋中学中五理科1班(5S1)的同班同学星期六(20/12/2008)在古晋东莞酒楼来个同窗会。

有的同学我真的是毕业了20年才第一次碰面。虽然全班42位同学移民的移民，在外工作的在外工作，还有些因临时有事抽不出时间出席等，还勉强给我们拉到19位同学出席。但那19人当晚所制造出来的噪音绝对不亚于20年前42位同学上课时所制造出来的噪音...

大家实在是太久没见面了，有太多的东西要分享和还有，依我看有整卡车的东西好谈论。

当然，当课题谈到我们的母校古晋中学月初的火灾时，大家心情也为之沉重起来。所以我也就乘大家相聚的这个时机，向同学们募捐款项，同学们也毫不犹疑地慷慨解囊。

虽然说我们当晚所筹募到的款项对整个建楼费用来说真的是杯水车薪，但这也算是我们对母校的一点心意，也希望能够起到抛砖引玉的作用 ...

“萝卜头”来了 ...

曾经让我去西班牙打扰数天的大学好友Roberto终于来了，我们最后一次见面是在1993年的夏天，那是好久好久以前的事了 ...

终于也让我在古晋能够尽地主之谊还回欠他十多年的那份人情，我自认我这热带风情的人情味，不逊色于他那地中海的人情味哩 ...

说真的，1993年的炎炎夏天让我在西班牙农家小屋渡过至今还让我回味无穷，津津乐道的假期。

一望无际的向日葵园...
匍匐满架的葡萄藤...
金黄色的麦田...

还有我拿着一本英文/西班牙文字典以生涩的西班牙语与Roberto的父母鸡同鸭讲交谈的画面 ...

当然，还有走在西班牙乡下农村路上引起当地人围观的锋芒 (其实是窘相)毕露情景 ...

我之前在我的部落格贴了一些散文 “朋友家的狗”和“ 葡萄树”，写的就是Roberto农村小屋的情景。

Summer 1993, I spent one of my most memorable vacations in beautiful Spain, among and in the company of Roberto's family and friends... and Lobo, Roberto's dog, too of course. So much so that I have written a few prose about my experience there, among them are "A Dog named Lobo" and "The Grape Tree" , which can be found here in my blog.

有朋自远方来,不亦乐乎!

2008年8月30日，大学同窗挚友来自德国的Stefan来访，在我家小住几天。

这是我们大学毕业15年後的第一次见面。
虽然只是短短的数天相聚，但随着大家叙说当年，谈话往事， 所勾起的大学时期那段回忆，如洪流般排山倒海而至， 非常痛快，很是酣畅 ...

本地文人“蔡羽”蔡吉祥说得非常贴切 ,

“人生有这种一辈子难得见几次的朋友真难得 ... ”。

我非常赞同。

有朋自远方来，不亦乐乎， 不亦乐乎也 ...

30th August, 2008， Stefan，a very good friend of mine from Germany came for a visit and put up at my house.

We have not seen each other for more than 15 years after leaving Nottingham and you can imagine how pleased I was despite his short stay ...
