Ipoh (population : 710,798 (2007)), the hilly capital city of the State of Perak, Malaysia is located approximately 200 km north of Kuala Lumpur. Existed since 1820s in the middle of Kinta Valley on the bank of Kinta River and came into prominence due to the booming tin mining industry.
位於吉隆坡以北約200公里, 處於近打河 (Kinta River) 流域，有「山城」, 「錫都」美稱的怡保 (Ipoh) 市 (人口 : 710, 798 (2007)), 是馬來西亞霹靂 (Perak) 州的首府。
