Dance of the Warrior 勇士舞






伊班族是砂拉越最大的族群,占砂拉越总人口2,399,839(2010)中的近30%。大部分伊班族是基督教徒, 但在日常生活中还是依循着代代相传的传统礼仪和习俗。





The Ibans comprise the largest percentage (almost 30%) of Sarawak's population of 2,399,839 (2010). Iban is native to Sarawak and Sarawak has the highest number of Ibans in Borneo.

The large majority of Ibans practise Christianity. However, like most other ethnic groups in Sarawak, they still observe many of their traditional rituals and beliefs.

Jungle Spa 雨林溫泉





距離古晉61公里往南的安娜莱斯(Annah Rais) 溫泉是一個非常奇特的溫泉, 這溫泉在熱帶雨林裏流着清涼溪水的河中央突然冒出。

Annah Rais Hot Spring, just 61km south of Kuching, is unique in that it is a hot spring that appears in the middle of flowing and cooling mountain stream.

Some call it - " The Ultimate Jungle Spa ".

Land of the Hornbills 犀鸟之乡


Sarawak or Bumi Kenyalang ("Land of the Hornbills"
)* is the biggest state in Malaysia.

Covering a total area of 124,450 km², it makes up 37.5% of the total land area of this South East Asian nation.




With a population of 2,500,000 (2007 estimate), Sarawak only has the population density of 19.1 person per km².



The administrative capital of Sarawak is
Kuching (literally means cat or kucing) which has a population of 579,900 (2006 census : Kuching City South - 143,500, Kuching City North - 133,600 and Padawan- 302,800). Sarawak has one of the most extensive protected area networks in Malaysia.



The State's protected area network includes 18 national parks, 4 wildlife sanctuaries and 5 nature reserves covering a total area 512, 387.47 ha (land area and water body).

It is worth mentioning that among these 18 National Parks, Gunung Mulu National Park * is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The massive cave systems, which contain 12 million cubic meter Sarawak Chamber is the world largest and the Clearwater Cave at 151 km (Feb 2007) is the 10th longest cave in the world.
