汉省华青团于2008年9月21日至24日受中国广东省人民政府侨务办公室之邀，前往广东省珠江三角洲作为期4天的经济考察。

《珠江三角洲的经济奇迹》一文记录了整个活动的过程。

On the 21st to the 24th days of September, 2008, the Federation of Kuching and Samarahan Divisions Chinese Associations Youth Section, Sarawak was invited by the People's Government of Guangdong Province, China for a 4 days familiarization tour to Zhujiang (Pearl River) Delta, Guangdong Province.

充满文化气息的宝墨园 (上)
Baomo Garden （Part 1）

参观了广州丰田，雨已转弱，风也不再咆哮，只是天空依然乌云密布，我们往广州市番禺区出发，目的地是位于番禺沙湾镇紫坭村的宝墨园。

我们在烟雨茫茫中抵达宝墨园。

Built at the end of the Qing Dynasty, Baomo Garden is a fine specimen of the Lingnan architecture.


宝墨园始建于清末民初，初时只占地五亩，后毁于20世纪50年代。1995年用了6年的时间重建，并扩建至168亩（约10万平方米），是一个集清宫文化、岭南古建筑、岭南园林艺术、珠三角水乡特色于一体的旅游景点。

Baomo Gaden has a fine collection of many sculptures made of stones, clay, porcelain and even wood.


清明上河图。

园中各式各样的陶塑、瓷塑、砖雕、灰塑、石刻、木雕等艺术精品琳琅满目。园中的聚宝阁与宝墨藏珍、龙图馆、赵泰来藏品馆等珍藏的古今名画、书法、陶瓷、铜器、玉器等个个价值连城，让人叹为观止。


Baomo Garden has many man-made water bodies, including the Litchi View Bay, Baomo Lake and Qingping Lake. There are 30 odd bridges scattered all over the Garden.

宝墨园里的荔景湾、清平湖、宝墨湖与一千多米长河贯通，水清如镜，杨柳条条，再加上万千锦鲤逍遥游和雨后的习习凉风，构成了一幅幅的人间美景，让我们心旷神怡，流连忘返。园内有30多座石桥表面上看来错综复杂，但是却乱中有序，赏心悦目。宝墨园四时青翠，园林花卉景点更是美不胜收。
