Round Tower (or Round Fort) was built in 1886.
The actual reason for building the tower is still a mystery, some said it was originally planned as a fort in times of emergency.

At one time, it formed part of the Kuching Court House Complex.

It now houses the Sarawak Craft Council.

位于古晋闹市中心的圆塔建于1886年，当时建此塔的目的至今仍然是个谜。
