it's now nearly five to three in the morning and you just made me hungry ;) thank you, will sneak into the kitchen. As I enjoy tea very much, would love to try that Milk Tea.

It is a food festival, but is something else going on too?
Yes, there are Ruth, exhibitions, garden displays, fire works etc. Every year we also have street parade but this year it was canceled due to the haze & A(H1N1), you can check my previous post about 2008 City Day Parade if you are interested ...

The sheep on my photos are domestic animal we met on our trip. They are grazing on the mountain in the sommer. The farmer takes them back home in the fall.
We, me and my husband, had a wonderful trip along the norwegian fjords and mountains :)

interesting... can this "Chawan" dishes be found anywhere in Kuching?
No ... as far as I know, only once a year you'll find it during the annual Kuching Food Festival.
